REBL+SHY is run by Liz + Hannah, two artists who care deeply about community, collaboration + creating spaces where people feel welcome to make + belong.
Liz Braid is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is grounded in community and public art. She studied community-focused practice through a Bachelor of Creative Arts at Deakin University and honours in Fine Art at UTAS. Working across facilitation, curation and advocacy, Liz creates welcoming spaces where artists can experiment, connect and be seen alongside local communities and regional partners.
