Cathy Jenner is an emerging multidisciplinary artist based on the North West Coast of Tasmania. She works across soft sculpture, drawing, mapping, and video to create intricate imagined worlds where stories unfold through colour, texture, and narrative. Cathy is autistic, and her creative process is deeply immersive, she often loses herself in the act of making, building richly detailed environments and characters with care and intention.

A devoted fan of CSI: Miami, Cathy draws on the visual language and storytelling of crime shows to reimagine her own experiences. Maps are drawn, soft-sculpture characters are lovingly brought to life, and each is dressed in carefully curated costumes for their role. Her works weave together playful interpretations with deeper truths, inspired by books, films, YouTube videos, and her lifelong love of horses.
